A search and rescue operation is currently underway in Sukhumvit 71 after a landslide trapped a man roughly three metres underground on Thursday evening.
The Bangkok Fire and Rescue Department said officers from the Phra Khanong station were dispatched to the scene in Pridi Banomyong Soi 14 shortly after receiving a report at 7.02pm.
Preliminary reports indicate that one man remains trapped beneath the collapsed soil.
Rescuers are actively working at the site to get him out safely.
