Renovation of the Prime Minister’s office in Government House is underway, in preparation for its new occupant’s arrival on Monday.
Formerly used by PM Srettha Thavisin, it was cleared of old fixtures and fittings shortly after he was ousted from the premiership last month. Workers were seen unloading boxes and furniture from trucks at Government House today.
Reporters were informed that the items are intended for the new prime minister’s office. It is reported that Paetongtarn is changing the orientation of her desk, to be in line with Feng Shui principles.
