In nationally televised address on Thursday, Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and her cabinet will provide details of the government’s performance over the past three months and explain its plans for the direction of the country in 2025.
Government Spokesman Jirayu Huangsap said today that the government is upbeat about improvements in various sectors, from tourism and agriculture to industrial development and investment, and is confident that economic growth in 2025 will exceed this year’s.
He said that the prime minister will also take the opportunity to present administrative policies, under the “2025 Empowering Thais: A Real Possibility” theme, to all state agencies.
Thailand’s growth for 2024 is forecast to be between 2.3% and 2.8%, which is low among ASEAN member countries.
