The Cabinet today decided to extend the state emergency in some of the districts of the three southern provinces of Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat for three months, from October 20 to January 19 next year.
Districts of the three provinces unaffected by the state of emergency are:
· Yee Ngor, Waeng and Sukhirin in Narathiwat
· Yaring, Panare, Mayo, Mai Kaen, Thung Yang Daeng, Kapho and Mae Lan in Pattani
· Betong, Yaha, Raman, Kabang and Krong Pinang in Yala
