Southern insurgents fired two M79 grenades into Kapho district police station in Pattani province this morning, but no one was killed or injured.
Police say that one of the grenades hit and damaged the roof of a house and another fell behind an apartment in the police station compound.
A third explosion occurred near a rubber factory in Plong Hoi sub-district, also in Kapho district. Again, no one was injured.
Police believe that the attacks were perpetrated by insurgents attempting to cause panic.
