Bangkok will be shrouded in excessive PM2.5 airborne pollution throughout this week due to weak air circulation, according to the Air Quality Information Centre of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
Today, all 50 districts are suffering excessive PM2.5 dust and are categorised as ‘Orange’, which means that the lack of air quality can be harmful to the health of vulnerable people.
The average level of PM2.5, as reported by the Air Quality Information Centre, is 47.2µg/m³, against the safe level of 37.5µg/m³.
The 12 most polluted districts in the capital today are:
1. Bueng Kum, 64µg/m³
2. Nong Chok, 63.8µg/m³
3. Lat Krabang, 61.7µg/m³
4. Nong Chok Park, 59.2µg/m³
5. Sai Mai, 56.6µg/m³
6. Min Buri, 56.5µg/m³
7. Bangkok Noi, 56.3µg/m³
8. Khlong Sam Wa, 55.6µg/m³
9. Kanna Yao, 55µg/m³
10. Seri Thai Park, 54.9µg/m³
11. Sathorn, 53.8µg/m³
12. Bang Khen, 53.7µg/m³
