Atchariya Ruangrattanapong, a self-proclaimed crusader on behalf of victims of crime, was arrested today by cybercrime officers on charges of defrauding the public and money laundering.
Officers from the Technology Crime Suppression Division executed the arrest under a warrant issued by the Criminal Court.
Police allege that Atchariya claimed to help victims of crime and received public donations, but the donations were misused, adding that evidence links him to an online gambling network with a revolving fund estimated at over 1 billion baht.
