September 8, 2024: The involvement of America’s Green Party in the US presidential race will not see the unorthodox camp gaining mainstream political power, but the 9/11 “Truth Movement” is hoping it could help their cause.
The movement is marking the anniversary of the world-changing terror attack on the US soil in 2001. Much maligned as it is due to its refusal to accept the official White House story, the movement has been tenacious since the very beginning, and it seems to have been buoyed by Green Party’s apparently-growing interest in the subject.
Green Party’s Jill Stein, who will have absolutely zero chances against Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in November, is said to be in favour of opening a new investigation. Invited to speak at this year’s anniversary conference of the “Truth Movement”, she also said a long time ago that she thought Osama bin Laden should have been captured and brought to trial rather than killed.
The “Truth Movement” is calling this year’s online anniversary event “24th Hour”. The title, organisers say, symbolically reflects their hope that if every year that has passed since 2001 was an hour, the movement is entering a new day, when a “good thing” can happen.
This year’s online event is focused traditionally on the “evidence” thatthe movement insists is “right there” before everyone’s eyes, and additionally on the alleged social media censorship and star speakers who the movement hopes could make public attention grow faster.
