Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra said today that he is willing to talk to anyone who has doubts about MoU 44, including Sondhi Limthongkul, an executive of Manager Group.
A nationalist group, led by Sondhi, has threatened to stage street protests if the government does not scrap the MoU 44 with Cambodia within 15 days.
Speaking to the media while campaigning for a Pheu Thai party’s candidate, in the PAO election in Ubon Ratchathani province today, Thaksin said that, since he was the prime minister when the MoU 44 was signed, he is ready to explain to anyone who speaks Thai about the document.
He also claimed to be unconcerned about threatened street protests.
