Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul registered his marriage to Thanonon Niramit today, on the eve of Valentine’s Day.
Anutin said that he chose the date because both he and his wife, nicknamed ‘Ja’, were born on the 13th, though in different months.
Anutin and his wife have an age difference of 20 years.
He added that he did not consult a fortune teller this time, after two previous marriages where "the auspicious dates didn't help."
Anutin invited a registrar to his residence and the registration was witnessed by his children.
