Thai people woke up on Saturday morning to the sad announcement that Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the consort of the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, had passed away on the night of October 24 at the age of 93.
The country has entered a mourning period for the late Queen, who has long been revered as the Queen Mother of Thailand.
Her Majesty was devoted in love and tireless in her dedication, committing her life to serving the Thai people alongside King Bhumibol for more than 70 years.
