Air pollution in and around Bangkok is worse than yesterday, with the amount of PM2.5 dust in the atmosphere exceeding the standard level of 37.5 microns (µg/m³) in 67 areas, including 27 areas in excess of 50µg/m³.
The most polluted area is Bang Put sub-district in Nonthaburi, where the PM2.5 level was measured at 85.1µg/m³. Ten other areas, in Nonthaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Prakan, Pathum Thani and Samut Sakhon, also reported high PM2.5 levels.
The amount of PM2.5 dust in Bangkok, measured over the past 24 hours, ranges from 35.8 to 67.2µg/m³.
Among the areas where PM2.5 exceeds 50µg/m³ are:
· Ma Charoen Road Phet Kasem 81 in Nong Khaem district, 67.2µg/m³
· In front of the library under the Taksin bridge in Khlong San district, 59.2µg/m³
· In front of Siam University in Phasi Charoen district, 59.1µg/m³
· Sanam Luang 2 in Thawee Wattana district, 58.7µg/m³
· Around Odeon Circle in Samphanthawong district, 57.7µg/m³
· Phutthamonthon 1 road in Taling Chan district, 57.5µg/m³
· Bangkok Noi train station in Bangkok Noi district, 57.2µg/m³
· Mahaisawan road intersection in Thon Buri district, 56.9µg/m³
· Rommanee park in Don Mueang district, 55.7µg/m³
· Lat Krabang hospital in Lat Krabang district, 55.6µg/m³
· The National Economic and Social Development Council in Pom Prab district, 55.5µg/m³
· Tha Phra intersection in Bangkok Yai district, 55.1µg/m³
