Mana Permpoon, Kaeng Krachan national park chief, reported on Facebook page of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP) yesterday that rangers found a herd of 16 healthy wild elephants, comprising eight adults, a young one with tusks and four others without tusks and three babies, foraging for food along the natural barrier on the Pusai-Saiane route, which was created to prevent them from entering nearby communities at the entrance of Ban Moo 1, Tambon Huai Sat Yai, Hua Hin district of Thailand’s Prachuabkirikhan province.

To keep people and tourists safe from the wild animals, park rangers successfully herded them back in the wild.
