Thailand today recorded three new COVID-19 cases, all returnees from abroad and in state quarantine.

 

According to the CCSA, one is a 53-year old Thai construction worker, who arrived from Singapore on August 7th and entered state quarantine in Chon Buri province.  An asymptomatic case, he tested positive on August 11th.

Two others are Thai masseuses, working in India, who returned to Thailand on August 7th and entered state quarantine in Bangkok.  Both had symptoms when they tested positive for COVID-19 on August 11th.

The new infections have increased the cumulative total in Thailand to 3,359, with 3,169 recoveries and 58 deaths. 132 others are still in hospital.
