A lot of retirees plan to live in other countries, and Thailand is one of the best destinations for them.

Thai PBS World met with the vice president of Chiang Mai Longstay Life Club (CLL), a group of Japanese people who come to spend their retirement years in Chiang Mai, and we asked why they choose to live in the Thailand Northern Capital.

We also spoke with Mr. Isao Yamaki, a university lecturer, who moved his entire family from Japan to live in Chiang Mai.
