Thailand urges parties in US-Iran conflict to exercise extreme restraint

The Thai government has called on all parties in the intensifying US-Iran not to escalate the situation.

In a statement, released today (Monday) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Thai government said it has been monitoring the events with grave concern.

The statement said that Thailand joins the international community in calling on all parties concerned to exercise extreme restraint, to avoid provocation, refrain from the use of further force, to reduce tensions and to restore peace and stability in the region.
