Thailand’s Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha delivered the opening speech at the 52nd ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Bangkok on Wednesday, July 31st.

The Prime Minister cited a number of outcomes in ASEAN during the first six months of Thailand’s chairmanship, including the creation of a people-centered ASEAN, the adoption of the ASEAN Leaders’ Vision Statement on Partnership for Sustainability, the upgrading of the ASEAN Center of Military Medicine in Chainat Province and the adoption of the Bangkok Declaration on Combating Marine Debris in the ASEAN Region.
