Dedicated Filipino street educators, psychologists and social workers, working for the Tulay Ng Kabataan Foundation (TNK), are sent to the shanty towns, slums and dumpsite of Manila to persuade children to abandon the streets and join the foundation to improve their lives and so enjoy a brighter future.
To date, TNK has rescued more than 50,000 kids from the streets.
