Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn is now recuperating in Chulabhorn Hospital after successful
micro-surgery to remove fascial tissue which had caused numbness in her left hand.

According to the second announcement of the Bureau of the Royal Household released today, doctors
conducted the micro-surgery on Tuesday to remove tissue that was compressing the nerves of the left
elbow, causing the numbness.

The operation was successful and there were no complications. The Princess, however, is still
experiencing discomfort from the surgery, but has been able to perform her routine activities from her
hospital room, according to the announcement.

The Princess, who was admitted to hospital on September 30 th , will remain there for now to undergo
physiotherapy.
