Air quality in Bangkok and 11 other provinces is has deteriorated on Saturday, with excessive amounts of PM2.5 dust in the atmosphere, particularly in 26 areas of Bangkok and its peripherals, according to the Pollution Control Department.

The areas in Bangkok and neighboring provinces with PM2.5 exceeding the 50-micron safety threshold today are

-Srinakharin Road in Prawet district

-Maha Chai sub-district in Samut Sakhon

-Kanchanapisek Road in Bang Khun Thian district

-Song Khanong sub-district in Samut Prakan

-Khlong Toey sub-district

-Omnoi sub-district in Samut Sakhon

-Paknam sub-district in Samut Prakan

-Bang Sao Thong sub-district in Samut Prakan

-Lat Phrao Road in Wang Thong Lang district

-Din Daeng Road in Din Daeng district

-Nakhon Pathom sub-district in Nakhon Pathom

-Khlong Goom sub-district in Bung Goom district

-Khlong Samwa district

-Rama 2 Road in Bang Khun Thian district

-Sukhumvit Road in Phra Khanong district

-Krung Kasem Road in Pom Prab district

-Rama 3 Road in Yan Nawa district

-Pattanakarn Road in Suan Luang district

-Bang Na-Trat highway in Bang Na district

-Sukhapibaan 5 Road in Sai Mai district

-Suan Sayam-Raminthra intersection in Kanna Yao district

The other 11 provinces with excessive PM2.5 are Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon, Samut Prakan, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Chiang Mai, Lampang, Saraburi, Prachin Buri, Ratchaburi and Rayong.
