PM Prayut imposes nation-wide curfew
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has declared a nation-wide curfew between 10 pm and 4 am, effective as of Friday in what is seen as the toughest measure to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
People in all provinces will be barred from being outdoor during those hours except those in essential services. Exemptions include personnel involved in transporting essential supplies, such as medicines and fuel. People working late shifts and travelling to and from airport are also exempted.
The curfew will be in effect until further notice.
