NAVY SEAL confirms 9th survivor out of cave

The Thai Navy SEAL has confirmed that one of the five remaining survivors still trapped in Tham Luang cave was savely taken out.  It said in its Facebook page that the “9th Wild Boar is out of the cave at 4.06pm”

Wild Boar is the SEAL’s  code word and the name of the soccer team whose 12 members and their coach were stranded in the cave since June 23.   Thai authorities and international rescue teams launched the final phase of the rescue mission this morning to bring out the  5 remaining survivors today.  Eight others have already been safely extracted from the cave over the past two days.

Ambulances and helicopters have been on a standby since this morning to rush the remaining survivors to Chiang Rai hospitals to join their teammates who are still under medical care there but are reported to be in good health.
