The prosecution of the lèse majesté case against former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has been postponed again, as investigators have not yet submitted additional findings requested by the Office of the Attorney General (OAG).

Prayut Bejraguna, an OAG spokesman, announced in a press conference today that the Attorney General will announce its decision on whether to proceed to court with the case on May 29.

Thaksin is accused of making remarks deemed offensive to the monarchy during an interview with South Korean media in Seoul on May 21, 2015.

Thaksin had appealed for justice regarding the allegation, prompting the OAG to order further enquiries to be made, with the findings be submitted by today. The OAG has not yet received the additional information requested, the spokesman said.

Thaksin did not appear at the hearing.
