His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn has issued a New Year’s greeting card expressing his well wishes to the Thai people.

The message in the greeting cards reads: “2019 greetings with love, with pure heart.  Let this new year be the year of joy, physical and mental happiness, wisdom and prosperity, with encouragement and faith to bring happiness to all with good wishes for happiness throughout the year and years beyond.”

The cover of the greeting card features the seal of the Chakri dynasty in the middle and the signatures of HM Queen Sirikit and HM the King in the lower part.

The inside of the card features the portrait of the late King Bhumibol on the upper side and the pictures of HM the King and HM Queen Sirikit on the lower part with the blue sky and the field of Dusita flowers named by the Queen in the background.

The greeting card also features cartoon drawings by HM the King depicting a happy family with its members helping one another in car washing, watering trees and other voluntary activities.
