Her Majesty Queen Sirikit has fully recovered from flu and doctors at Chulalongkorn Hospital advised her to be discharged today, the Bureau of the Royal Household announced.

The bureau said in a statement issued today that doctors at Chulalongkorn hospital reported that the health condition of HM the Queen who was admitted to the hospital for treatment of influenza since August 19 has returned to normal. 

She has no fever, less coughing, can eat and sleep well and lung X-ray and blood test show they are normal, said the announcement.

The statement said HM the Queen was to be discharged and return to Chitralada Palace today at the advice of the doctors.
