At least five policemen were injured in two explosions, in front of the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Centre, in the southern province of Yala this morning.
The first explosion took place at about 10.30am, shortly followed by another, which was caused by a device hidden in a pickup truck.
Authorities suspect that the blasts were detonated by southern insurgents.
