Air quality in Bangkok has slightly improved today, as the average concentration of PM2.5 dust is 73.4µg/m³ (microns), against yesterday’s 88.4µg/m³.
The 12 worst affected districts today are:
1. Nong Chok, 93.6µg/m³
2. Min Buri, 91.8µg/m³
3. Kanna Yao, 91.5µg/m³
4. Bang Na, 89.9µg/m³
5. Khlong Sam Wa, 89.7µg/m³
6. Nong Khaem, 87.6µg/m³
7. Bueng Kum, 87.6µg/m³
8. Saphan Soong, 87.6µg/m³
9. Lat Krabang, 83.7µg/m³
10. Wang Thong Lang, 81.5µg/m³
11. Phasi Charoen, 80.9µg/m³
12. Lat Phrao, 80.3µg/m³
Despite being advised to avoid outdoor activities, there were some people seen exercising in the Rod Fai Park this morning, although only about a fifth of the usual number.
One jogger said that he checks the air quality reading from the Air Quality Information Centre before leaving home to exercise in the park.
