Elon Musk visits Tham Luang

Elon Musk, Americian chief executive of Tesla Inc, SpaceX and Boring Company, visited Tham Luang this morning, and left behind a mini-sub prototype  in the cave where five members of Moo Pa Academy football team of Chiang Rai’s Mae Sai district are still waiting to be brought out.

On Monday morning, he tweeted:
“Just returned from Cave 3. Mini-sub is ready if needed. It is made of rocket parts & named Wild Boar after kids’ soccer team. Leaving here in case it may be useful in the future. Thailand is so beautiful.”
Mr Musk also published a video of the flooded cave on Instagram, which drew more than 900,000 views. Instagram users, both Thai and foreigners, are full of praise for Mr Musk and thank him for visiting the cave himself.

Mr Musk had earlier sent a working team to meet Thai authorities with an offer to help bring the 12 young footballers and their coach out of Tham Luang cave.

Four more members of the Moo Pa Academy football team were rescued to safety on Monday night, adding up the number of those having been brought out to eight.
