Nakhon Ratchasima police are looking for a German man, who has allegedly attacked six dentists since last November, after the provincial court issued a warrant for his arrest yesterday.
Police say that the 46-year-old German national has allegedly attacked dentists in at least six clinics in the Muang district. He used to have a Thai wife living in Non Soong district, but she left him some time ago, reportedly because she could not tolerate his aggressive behaviour.
In a recent attack at one clinic, police allege that the German knocked the female dentist’s head against a wall and bit her mouth, causing a minor injury.
The suspect also allegedly posted messages threatening dentists on social media, prompting the society of dentists in the province to demand that police take action.
Pol Col Kachain Setaputta, deputy commander of Nakhon Ratchasima provincial police, said that three charges have been filed against the suspect, including assault, intrusion and causing damage to property.
He also said officers will arrest the suspect as soon as possible, because he could be a danger to other people due to his unpredictable mood swings.
Latest reports suggest that the suspect has left his home in a car and his current whereabouts are unknown.
