20 students injured in Sukhothai crash

A many as 20 students were injured, three of them seriously, when a pickup truck rammed into the rear of their vehicle, which was a pickup modified as a school bus, in Ban Dan Lan Hoi district of Sukhothai province today.

Aeroflot flight makes emergency landing at Suvarnabhumi airport

Due to a reported landing gear issue, an Aeroflot plane, which left Phuket for Moscow late yesterday afternoon, had to circle above the Andaman Sea for several hours, to burn off fuel, before making an emergency landing at the Suvarnabhumi international airport in Bangkok last night.

Det Udom district hospital, in the north-eastern province of Ubon Ratchathani, is appealing for public donations after an arson attack last Friday. The fire caused extensive damage to medical equipment and the third floor of the hospital building, estimated at around 100 million baht.
