Shane Bhatla, a former victim of LGBTIQ bullying at an international school, tells Thai PBS World about his negative experiences and the reason why he didn’t want to report the incidents to the teachers. Shane believes that bullying in schools is preventable. There needs to be a collective effort in order to figure out and mitigate future bullying cases, which can affect the mental health of really young students and especially students who are experiencing marginalisation.
