2020 budget bill passes first reading in Parliament

After 3 days of debate, the Government’s 3.2 trillion baht 2020 fiscal budget bill sailed through its first reading in the House of Representatives today (Saturday), with 251 MPs voting in support of the bill and 234 abstaining.
Those abstaining included every Opposition MP.
