Thai cabinet has approved the proposal from The Cultural ministry to nominate Tom Yum Gung, the Thai hot spicy and sour soup with shrimp, to be listed on UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage.

But with Thailand’s variety of popular menu that has really put our street food on the map and to-do list of what tourists can’t miss out, has got us wondering what Thais and Foreigners living in Thailand think about this move or what other dish should also be nominated.

So we hit the streets of Bangkok and asked Thais and foreigners what are their thoughts on this tasty agenda.
