Temperatures in most parts of Thailand to fall today and tomorrow

People living in most parts of Thailand, except the southern region, have been advised to take care of their health as a strong cold front from China is predicted to reduce temperatures by 1-50C through today and tomorrow.

The Meteorological Department reported this morning that, as a result of the high pressure now over the Thailand, the mercury in the north-eastern region will drop by 3-50C today and tomorrow. Meanwhile, temperatures in the central, northern and eastern regions will fall by 1-30C during the same period.

The southern region will experience more rain, as the result of easterly wind covering the Gulf, while the sea conditions from Surat Thani province southward will be choppy, with waves 2-3 metres high. Small boats have been advised to remain ashore from today until February 23rd.
