The opposition People’s party will submit a motion to opposition whips today, seeking a no-confidence debate against individual ministers, with the expectation that the motion will be forwarded to the House Speaker by February 27th.
Deputy leader of the party, Sirikanya Tansakul, said today that the party is preparing more than 20 speakers to question individual ministers on issues ranging from the “digital wallet” scheme and Chinese underground businesses in Thailand to scam call centres in Myanmar.
She offered her assurance that the party’s speakers will not touch on issues raised during the last censure debate.
