Public Health Minister Somsak Thepsuthin said today that he has 15 days to consider the Medical Council board’s decision to find three doctors at fault for helping former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra to be treated in the Police General Hospital for six months.
He said he is now waiting for the formal delivery of the board’s decision and appealed to all critics not to speculate that he would use his power as the special chairman of the board to veto the decision.
He also said that some have been trying to link the Medical Council board’s decision with politics which, he added, will only lead to public confusion.
