The Royal Thai Force (RTAF) scrambled two F16 fighter jets to the Thai-Myanmar border on May 6, in Kanchanaburi province, after an unidentified aircraft was detected on radar.
Air Marshal Prapas Sornjaidee, spokesman for the RTAF, said that the two F16s were sent from the 4th air wing, in Takhli district of Nakhon Sawan province, but the unidentified aircraft had already gone.
The F16s returned to base.
