Favipiravir is administered when a patient begins to exhibit symptoms of a COVID-19 infection.
Between April 26th and 30th, he said that the ministry had distributed 190,500 Favipiravir tablets to Rajavithi Hospital, 48,000 to Nakhon Ping Hospital in Chiang Mai, 78,200 to Phra Nang Klao Hospital in Nonthaburi, 70,000 tablets to Chon Buri provincial hospital, 18,500 to Hat Yai Hospital, 4,000-6,000 tablets to each of medical school and over 100,000 tablets to private hospitals.
He assured that there is sufficient Favipiravir to meet the current demand.
Meanwhile, it is reported that over 430,000 people over 60, or with certain congenital diseases, registered yesterday through the Mor Prom mobile app and Line chat, for their vaccine shots.
