During the peak of the coronavirus pandemic, a few Thai-made COVID vaccines were under development, one of which was Chula COV-19.
The Thai public had high expectations for this vaccine, and money from both the state and the public poured into this project. Earlier this year, however, the development team declared an end to the COV-19 vaccine project. Thai PBS World examines what Thailand has gained from the past four years of this project.
