A utility pole placed in the middle of a footbridge under construction, in front of a shopping centre in Sattahip district of Chonburi province, has resulted in widespread criticism among Thai netizens.

Palang Pracharat party MP for Chonburi province, Sathira Phuakpraphun, revealed that the footbridge is part of a project of Chonburi 2 Highway District, to expand the road through the community.
