Two COVID-19 infections found in Thammasat University

Thammasat University reported two COVID-19 cases, one member of university staff at the faculty of law and one medical student. Both are receiving treatment in hospitals.

The medical student, at the Rangsit campus, became infected when he was in contact with an infected patient at the Thammasat University Hospital on February 9th.

The university also screened 60 other people deemed to be at risk, 55 of whom tested negative, 5 others are waiting for their test results.

The university has instructed all at-risk people to quarantine for 14 days. Anyone who considers themselves at-risk or might be at risk should contact the university’s Rangsit campus immediately.
