Three Thai boxers beat their rivals from Myanmar and Singapore to reach the final round of the SEA Games boxing competition in Cambodia today (Wednesday).

Thanarat Saengphet, bronze medallist in the 2021 world boxing championship, scored 5:0 to defeat Lin Hatu Peng in three rounds in the 51kg flyweight class.

Banchong Sinsiri, the 2022 SEA Games champion in the 67kg weight class, beat Myanmar’s Kayaw Min-oo 5:0 in three rounds. The heavyweight bout between Weeraphon Jongjoho and Muhammad Danish Bin Husli was stopped in the first round, after the Thai boxer landed several punishing blows on his opponent.
