Thailand reports 30 new COVID-19 cases

Thirty new COVID-19 cases were reported by the Thai Ministry of Public Health this morning, bringing the total number of infections in Thailand to 177.

The ministry said that 11 of the new confirmed cases are related to the group of boxing fans, who earlier tested positive for coronavirus after being at the Lumpini boxing stadium.

There are another 22 suspected cases pending test results.

The ministry, however, warned that there may be more infections, between 30-50 cases each day, during April.
