Thai health officers travel by boat to COVID-19 patients in remote communities

These two health workers are zipping up their PPE suits, putting on masks and face shields and slowly climbing into a boat on the banks of a countryside canal.
This is the best way for them to ensure remote communities in Samut Prakan, a province on the fringes of the capital Bangkok, get access to health checkups, as the country struggles to slow the spread of coronavirus.
The workers travel along these small canals every day, to provide swab tests for COVID-19 patients who are in self-isolation in the already isolated communities.
