Actress Preechaya Pongthananikorn reported to the police today (Sunday), to explain that she bought cyanide online to get rid of reptiles, which had attacked her pet dogs in the backyard of her mother’s house.

The actress was accompanied by her mother and a lawyer. The cyanide which she procured came from the same lot allegedly used by serial murder suspect Sararat Rangsiwuthaporn.

The lawyer, Monchai Jongkrairattnakul, told the media that Preechaya reported to the police to explain that she bought the cyanide with no intention to harm anybody, but to get rid of snakes and monitor lizards.

He also said that he has no idea whether the police will charge her for illegal possession of cyanide, adding that any of the lethal chemical previously in her possession has already been handed over to Bang Khen police.
