Ten new COVID-19 cases in quarantine in Thailand today

Thailand recorded ten new COVID-19 cases today (Tuesday), five of whom are foreigners and five Thais arriving from nine countries, according to the CCSA.

They include a 20-year old Thai woman returning from Saudi Arabia, a 27-year old Thai woman returning from Bahrain, a 34-year old Russian woman, a 36-year old Bangladeshi man, a Thai couple returning from Germany, a 12-year old Azerbaijani boy, a 48-year old Thai woman returning from the Czech Republic, a 33-year old French hotel manager and a 61-year old Israeli man.

Cumulative infections in Thailand, to date, are 3,797, including 2,451 locally-transmitted cases and 849 imported cases. 10 new recoveries were reported today, bringing that total 3,605. 133 others are still being treated in hospitals.

Worldwide infections, at 10am today, are 47,318,967, with 86,553 severe cases.  34,033,341 have recovered from the disease and total fatalities are 1,211,255.

Thailand now ranks 147th.
