His Majesty King Carl Gustaf XVI of Sweden has sent a message to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand offering his sincere condolences to the families of those who died and the Thai people in the mass shooting in Nakhon Ratchasima last weekend.

The message, which was sent through the Swedish embassy in Bangkok reads “The Queen and I wish to convey our sincere condolences on the tragic loss of lives following the brutal mass shooting in Korat.  We offer our heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims and to the people of the Kingdom of Thailand.”
