SRT suspends weekend tourism and commercial train services until Feb 28th

From today (Saturday), until February 28th, the State of Railway of Thailand (SRT) has suspended 49 weekend tourism and commercial services, in line with the CCSA’s policy to discourage travel to contain the spread of COVID-19, according to SRT Governor Mr. Nirut Maneephan.

The tourism trains are:

Bangkok-Plu Ta Luang-Bangkok
Bangkok-Nam Tok-Bangkok
Bangkok-Suan Son Pardipat-Bangkok
Kanchanaburi-Nam Tok-Kanchanaburi
Bangkok-Kok Saloong-Pasak Cholasit dam-Bangkok

The commercial trains on the northern route are:

Bangkok-Chiang Mai-Bangkok special express train
Bangkok-Chiang Mai-Bangkok express train
Bangkok-Den Chai-Bangkok rapid train
Bangkok-Chiang Mai-Bangkok rapid train

The commercial trains for the northeastern route are:

Bangkok-Ubon Ratchathani-Bangkok special express train
Bangkok-Nong Khai-Bangkok special express train
Bangkok-Ubon Ratchathani-Bangkok express train
Bangkok-Nong Khai-Bangkok express train
Bangkok-Ubon Ratchathani-Bangkok rapid train

The commercial trains for the southern route

Bangkok-Hat Yai-Bangkok special express train
Bangkok-Surat Thani-Bangkok special express train
Bangkok-Trang-Bangkok express train
Hat Yai-Sughaigolok-Hat Yai rapid train
