Six more suspects wanted for abduction and assault of a 16-year-old boy in Nonthaburi

Arrest warrants have been issued for six more suspects, wanted by Pak Kret district police in Nonthaburi province for an assault on a 16-year-old boy, who was abducted at gunpoint from a motorcycle repair shop in the district last week.

The boy was found unconscious at the side of the motorway in Bangkok’s Lat Krabang district on the day of his abduction, allegedly carried out by about ten men.

Police said that the victim is out of danger and was moved to a standard ward from intensive care unit last night (Monday), but he still cannot not give any information to the police.

On Sunday night, police searched the house of one of the suspects, identified as Kittiporn Buanoi, in Samut Sakhon province, who accidentally shot one of his colleagues on the same day that they allegedly kidnapped the 16-year-old boy.

The gunshot victim is currently being treated at a hospital in Pak Kret district.

Police found a black Toyota Fortuner car, which was caught on CCTV footage, being used by the group in their alleged abduction of the boy and some ammunition in the house, but did not find Kittiporn.

Police said that the violence stemmed from a conflict in a “grey” business, in which the boy was hired by a gang to open a bank account through which the gang would launder their ill-gotten money, but the boy allegedly took some of the money, about 300,000 baht, for his own personal use.
