Six brands of personal care items banned

The Thai Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA) has banned six brands of toothpastes, shampoo and face mask after finding that they  were on the market without permits.

The ban was issued after Thai FDA officials and immigration police raided a business in the Bang Na area, which had been using a Chinese influencerto sell the products recently.

The products have no TFDA permits, are not registered as cosmetics and have no Thai labels, as required by local regulations. The Chinese national(s) involved also had no work permit(s).

The TFDA recommends that the public do not to buy the following products:

  • Tieum sea salt clean Toothpaste
  • Talmostop Shampoo
  • Cassiey Nicotinamide Cyanobacteria Brighten mask
  • Daitisud Hyaluronic Acid Facial Mask
  • Cassiey Mineral Cleansing Skin Volcanic Mask Mud Film
  • Baking Soda Cool & Bright White toothpaste
